In marginal winter weather, flights into Boise Airport are more reliable than the Sun Valley Airport. Direct flights to Sun Valley are offered by Alaska / Horizon (from Los Angeles & Seattle), United (from Denver & San Francisco) and Delta (from Salt Lake City).
It is a 2.5 to 3 hour drive between Boise and Sun Valley.
